As the now Soul Edge possessed Sousou descended on Mirisha like a plague, he destroyed any opposing force that attempted to stand in his ways. Countless noble soldiers became food for evil blade, their souls drained and their bodies discarded. However, Sousou still retained the need for an army and these slain warriors would become the vessels to make this possible.
Now free of their natural immortal souls, the bodies were each infested with the spirit of lesser malevolent demons that bowed to Soul Edge's will. The result was the shambling zombie-like Demon Puppet GMs, tattered corpses mutated by the blasphemy that now possesed them. What they lacked in tactical thinking they made up in sheer numbers and demonic strength. These foul desecrations serve only to hunt fresh souls to feed their master's endless hunger.
Another GM soldier mod Ever since we heard of these guys, I was keen to mod one in order to give my possessed Sousou a minion to boss around. Much like its master, the GM sports Super Sculpey mutation. However, I tried to make it look different from his boss. Whilst Sousou is supposed to look like a hideous mutation, the GM Puppet is supposed to look like a dieing body that is being used as a body. My favourite detail is the horns, including one sawn off. Sadly not shown here is his shield, complete with a big ol Soul Edge eye. The logic being that the sword can use these guys to feedback info to it directly.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
